We welcome visitors to our monthly meetings every second Thursday of the month from 7.30-9.30 pm at:

Kingsley Hall, Powis Road, Bromley By Bow, London E3 3HJ

Kingsley Hall is a Community Centre in Bow that was set up by Doris & Muriel Lester  in the early 20th century as a people’s house where local residents irrespective of age, class, faith or ethnicity came together for social events, concerts, adult school and summer holiday schemes. Kingsley Hall was always supportive to the suffragette movement as well as labour movement; Doris and Muriel Lester remained pacifists all their lives, and in 1931 (while attending the Round table Conference in London) Mahatma Gandhi chose to stay at Kingsley Hall on the invitation of Muriel.
